My name is Karin Svendsen.  I bought my first Norwegian Forest Cat *S Fryksdalen's Amalia early 1996.  She was a sweet, black & white female.  I became a member of the local Catclub Lillestrøm Rasekattklubb (LIRAK) the same year and started to attend shows all over Norway and a few in Sweden.  My cattery name (N) Cikada's was offisially registered at our national federation Norske Rasekattklubbers Riksforbund (NRR - a member of FiFe) in desember 1996, and I have had one litter every year since then.

I used to live in the town Lillestrøm 30 min by car north of Oslo, but I moved to the western part of our country in 2003, and I am now living in Ågotnes at Sotra near the city of Bergen.  Here I live topgether with Knut (Borge) - the worlds kindest man.  After moving to the western part of Norway I have discovered the boatlife and love everything about it.
